Back to Basics! This class is designed for Beginners. It introduces basic poses and simple movements, with a focus on safety: alignment, breath and slow, controlled movements. Students will learn about their own bodies and how to tailor their practice to work within their own range of motion: every body is different, so students learn that there is no such thing as a “perfect” posture and that it is essential that they don’t copy others when practicing. The class is also suitable for experienced practitioners who desire to revisit their foundation for a more advanced practice. The class may be suitable for those with medical issues or injury: such students are advised to speak to our teachers for advice, in addition to seeking advice from a medical professional.
