Nicole is a movement therapist and also a huge proponent of Myofascial Release (MFR). Her belief that no one should have to deal with a life of chronic aches and pains drives her to share with others movements and techniques that can help encourage a more pain free quality of living.
Her initial 200h yoga teacher training which exposed her to the teachings of reknowned teachers such as Kino MacGregor, Jo Phee and Matthew Sweeney set the foundation for her curiosity and passion in biomechanics. She has since been trained in both Fletcher’s and Stott’s Pilates, trained in Neurokinetic Therapy and is currently pursuing her 500h advanced teacher training with Yoga Medicine founded by Tiffany Cruikshank.
Nicole believes that a mobile and stable body is key in the maintenance of an active and pain-free lifestyle. Understanding that each person is varied in practice and body, Nicole takes an anatomical and functional approach to teaching, often including MFR to release before retraining the body. In her classes, students of all levels will get to discover what works for them and therefore develop their own practice and carry forward this into their day to day lives.
