This workshop aims to take students new to the practice of handstands to a level where they will be able do a wall assisted kickup.
Our flexibility is sometimes limited not by our muscles but by the connective tissues (fascia) that weave through our bodies, wrapping around our muscles and into our joints. Fascia is an elastic tissue that can stiffen due to over- or underuse, limiting our range of motion.
Workshop #2: Forearm Stand ( Pincha Mayurasana)
This workshop aims to take students new to the practice of forearm stands to a level where they will be able do a wall assisted kick up. It will also introduce the standing split press up as an introductory pressing technique to go one step beyond kicking up.
